A systems-first approach
Kaylos solves complex operational problems by stepping back and designing systems from an elevated perspective.
We bring clarity to what's tangled and structure to what's scattered—by addressing root causes rather than layering new tools on top of existing ones.
Elevated Perspective
We map problems from above — seeing how tools, workflows, and processes interact across the full organizational landscape.
Intentional Design
We build only what needs to exist, prioritizing clarity and long-term operability over feature accumulation.
Structural Solutions
We solve problems at the system level, creating leverage that compounds rather than complexity that scales.
Platforms
When a system-level problem requires software, we build it.
Our platforms are expressions of a design philosophy, not the philosophy itself.
Operational credential systems
A platform designed to support structured oversight of qualifications and requirements across organisations.
Additional systems currently in build across different problem domains.
Team
Dylan Cromb
Co-Founder
Dylan approaches problem-solving from a systems and organisational perspective, shaped by experience across health services research and the coordination of complex, people-centred operations.
His work focuses on understanding how structure, governance, and workflows interact—ensuring solutions address root causes rather than surface-level symptoms.
Rivas Koirala
Co-Founder
Rivas brings a delivery-grounded, structural perspective informed by experience on large-scale infrastructure projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Trained as a civil engineer, his background in coordination and quality assurance informs Kaylos' focus on solutions that are intentionally designed and capable of holding together over time.
Philosophy
Why We Exist
Kaylos exists because complexity compounds faster than clarity. Organizations accumulate tools, processes, and workflows that work in isolation but create friction at the boundaries.
How We Solve Problems
We solve these problems by stepping back — viewing the system from above, identifying structural inefficiencies, and designing integrated solutions that remove layers rather than add them.
Our Perspective
Software is one tool among many. We build platforms when they're the right answer, but we think in terms of systems, not products.
What Guides Our Work
Our work is intentional, designed for long-term operability, and focused on creating leverage without introducing new dependencies. We resist trend-driven development, prioritize design over features, and measure success by what we eliminate, not what we ship.
Systems built with intention.
